CUSTOMER PROTECTION / A+ LEDGER
Identity & wallet security
Our security requirements for future A+-managed wallet and transaction services. Before an A+ financial account is activated, customers will need identity verification and proof that they control the wallet being linked.
Verification required
Official identification. A supported government-issued document, such as a driver's license or passport, must be validated by an approved identity-verification provider.
Matching live image. A live facial capture must match the verified identity photograph, with liveness and anti-spoofing checks. An accessible manual review route will be offered when automated verification is unavailable or unsuitable.
Wallet ownership. A signed wallet challenge must demonstrate control of the wallet; simply entering an address is not sufficient. A+ will not request wallet seed phrases or private keys.
Transaction approval. A+ will require an authenticated session, additional verification for sensitive activity, and explicit approval of transaction details. Suspicious or mismatched operations may be blocked or reviewed.
Customer privacy
Identity records and biometric information require enhanced safeguards and restricted access. We intend to minimize collection and retention, use approved verification services, and provide applicable notices and review processes before activation. Do not email identity photographs or wallet recovery phrases to us.
Availability and scope
This describes the required security design, not a currently operating identity-check service. A+ customer wallet accounts, exchange transactions and settlement services are not yet available for production enrollment. These requirements apply to services controlled by A+; they cannot restrict independent transactions on unrelated wallets or public blockchains.
